CompostSmart

Community Gardens are brilliant solutions to repurposing empty and vacant lots into reservoirs of greenery within the concrete jungle setting that is NYC. They, however, are not a prefect solution. Composting is vital to garden sustainability but due to volunteers' lack of expertise, time and resources, they are unable to do it efficiently. The CompostSmart App combats these issues by connecting community garden members across the city with one another and offering immediate personalized solutions to daily composting problems.
